Marshall Point Light Station in Maine was built in 1832 in Port Clyde Harbor. The original lighthouse was ignited by 7 lard oil lamps. It was featured in the 1994 film Forrest Gump. This tide clock can be set to follow most any semidiurnal local tide, not just Marshall Point.
